Michael has been training me for 2 years at the JFSLA Senior Center. He is the type of trainer who is very conscientious, dedicated, kind, with lots of patience, very considerate and above all loves to teach. Mike works on everyone’s individual strengths. He takes the time to not only teach and train you but also the proper way to keep your body from getting injured.
One of the first things Mike taught all of us was to get up from the floor on your own. He realizes that as a senior you may live alone and if you fall you must be able to get up. In just a few weeks we all got up by ourselves.
We work with equipment such as: TRX Suspension Trainer, TRX Rip Trainer, weighted balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bands all of which Mike is extremely well trained.
He sees to it that we all work at our own pace. He never pushes you to do more than you can. When I started I was using 3lbs dumbbells, now I’m using 8lbs.
In conclusion, I recommend Mike for any and all Personal Training. The only regret I have is that I didn’t start with Mike many years earlier.

Life Changing:
Michael is so much more than a trainer to me. I came to him during a difficult time in my life and felt like I was holding on by a thread. Working out was one of the few things that gave me a sense of control but I needed direction. Michael is the kind of person that doesn’t just dedicate your scheduled hour to you, he dedicates his whole day toward how he can help you through different nutrition and workout ideas. He cares and it makes you care. He not only helped transform my body into being fitter, stronger and faster, he transformed my outlook into being more confident, energetic and happy. Now a body and lifestyle I thought unattainable, has become a way of life. I don’t know where I’d be if Michael didn’t walk into my life and thanks to him, I will always be a person that looks forward to the next way I can challenge myself.

Use it or lose it, is the motto of Mike my personal trainer. As I aged, I neglected physical exercise and became less agile. My joints slackened to the point where I grew shorter. Space between bones in my spinal column shrank reducing the signals my brain sent to my legs and it’s muscles. I tried crunches, walkers, exercies, then a personal trainer, who had a simple remedy, use it or lose it. First came machines where I walked on a treadmill, climbed moving steps. Then walked in a pool waist deep in water, then on the floor, finally on machines. When the weather turned cold, I decided to change my routine, and went back to old fashioned exercise – Walking! First walking half a block, then a full block, and each day after, a little farther. With Mike, my trainer, walking along side of me, watching and encouraging me to win my fight against age.
